Recently I was at the Baby and Toddler show where I went to find and try a new carrier for myself and my daughter Imogen. We had been using a Babyway Carrier 3 in 1 and found that it wasn't working for us. It wasn't great for while we used it as she was too small of a baby nor was it great for when she got bigger. She just didn't feel safe and it put me off carrying her unless it was a walk around the shop. At the show, they had a sling library to test out the Izmi Baby Carrier where they fitted it to your body and talked through what requirements you was looking for in a carrier. Let me tell you about how you need to find the perfect carrier to suit yourself and your babe.

On Saturday I had a bit of mummy free time and headed to Manchester bright and early for a crafting event. I was invited to the #vikingartyparty a few months ago and I had saved the date in my diary ready for this day to come. After having a nosy on Instagram and the internet I found that it was a crafting party with three different workshops on offer so I was really excited because I have barely touched any craft stuff since I was pregnant! I couldn't wait to get dug in.

When it comes to Baby Led Weaning it can be very easy to fall into a routine and feed your baby the same things all of the time. I always feel a little bit guilty when I'm sat stuffing myself with a takeaway on the days I can't be bothered to cook and I don't want my daughter to feel left out. I was recently sent the Flavour Led Weaning book and here I found the recipe for Cheesy Tortilla Pizza Slices which is basically a healthier version of a pizza that both babies, children and adults can enjoy.

Mamamamamamamamababamamama. That’s all I’ve been hearing these past couple of weeks. My little girl has finally started to say Mama after starting out by saying Daddy. It’s strange to see her go through fads of words that she says. I know she doesn’t really know what Mama is or Daddy but she does like to say it when we walk in the room as well as Gaga.

For Reece's birthday, we planned trip to London for a day out as we had been wishing to go back for ages, but we wanted to wait until Imogen was at an age where we could relax and enjoy the city without having to stop every two minutes for a bottle. I wanted to share with you what we got up to on our family day out to London.

So recently myself and R went to London on a day trip visit for his birthday and what good is going to London without visiting LUSH? We're huge fans of the brand so we wanted to visit their biggest store to see some of the exclusives and to see if any of our old faves were just hiding in the back. On with the haul!

With winter days behind us and the longing of the summer rays, we’ve found ourselves in a bit of limbo with how do we dress our baby at night in spring. With it not being cold enough for multiple layers, but not quite cool enough for the days in a vest and a blanket we’ve struggled to figure out what temperature our ever-inconsistent house is and how do we make sure our daughter is warm enough at night without her over heating?
