London trip //

Last month myself and Reece took off to London to have a little break, become tourists and explore the city. Warning: There IS a cheesy couple photo, but that is the only one.

We left home early and took the train to London getting in around midday, managing to get lost as soon as we left the station and walked the completely wrong direction to anywhere, as we didn't know what we wanted to do. As soon as we found our bearings, we headed to Camden town, to get a spot of lunch and have a mooch around all the little stalls, shops and street life.

On our way around Covent Garden we bumped into Frank Carter, from Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes and more known from The Gallows. Still strange how you can bump into people in London. This would never happen in the north.

After we went to 'check in' the house we were staying in via AirBNB, we set off to London Bridge to do what we northers to do best. Take pictures of everything and anything and ooh and ahh at the big city. So phewph without further ado, here are some pictures to overview some of the things we got up to while we were there.

On our second day we went shopping for a bit around Covent Garden, Picadilly Circus and Leicester Square, checking out the muji store, Hema, and other little stationary shops before we caved in and got Chipotle.

At the very last minute we went into Lush on Oxford Street and picked up a couple of bits each. I loved London so much and we got to see so much in such little time and it wasn't even rushed. I can't wait to visit again, hopefully at Christmas to visit the markets and get the Christmassy feeling.
