My Top 10 albums of 2015 //

It's been a long and winding year and I know this is a bit late considering we are now in 2016. I personally can't wait for this year to take it's road because there's so much to look forward to. In no particular order these are my top 10 albums of the past year.

Beauty Behind The Madness - The Weeknd.

I long awaited for this album to appear on the shelves and as much as I didn't get on with the fact he had a song appearing on the 50 Shades Of Grey soundtrack, it's obviously worked wonders for him career wise. My favourite songs off this album are 'In The Night', 'As You Are' and 'Dark Times'

At. Long. Last. ASAP. - ASAP Rocky.
I was just, crazy as soon as I heard 'Everyday' first come on the radio. I'm a huge Rod Stewart fan and it was just not something you'd generally expect. I purchased this album as soon as it came out and my favourites are of course as you may suspect 'Everyday', 'Back Home' and 'L$D'.

Chaos And The Calm - James Bay.

Lucky just doesn't justify anything here. I was lucky enough to meet James Bay at his album signing tour in HMV where he played a few songs old and new and then met everyone. I went on my own and basically stood out like a sore thumb. Back to the good stuff, this album is incredible for an easy upbeat listen and the song's I'd recommend are 'Best Fake Smile', 'When We Were On Fire' and 'Collide'.

That's The Spirit - Bring Me The Horizon.

2015 was the year for this band. I've been following them for over 8 years now and they're just getting bigger and better. This album just represents the ground and levels they're setting for modern rock bands these days and it looks like they're untouchable. On That's The Spirit my favourite listens are 'True Friends', 'Blasphemy' and 'Happy song'.

Badlands - Halsey.

It's crazy to think that I know someone that's very close to such an inspiring artist, if it's not her outfit look she's changing its her hair. I'm very excited to go watch her next month when she plays Manchester. I honestly love every single song on this album as equal as the next it's just something new. I guess to name three I'd reccomend you to listen to are 'Control', 'Colors' and 'Haunting'.

In Colour - Jamie XX.
I think this is the record that shocked most of The XX fans, or maybe not. It's not the same style that you'd see the bands direction and it's just got so much flavour to it, I love it so much. My favourites are definatley 'Gosh' 'SeeSaw' 'I Know There's Gonna Be Good Times'.

Ones And Zeros - Young Guns.
I caught Young Guns earlier in 2015 last minute and I was shocked. They're got a bigger sound and are stepping up their game. I hadn't seen the band in a number of years play (however I do always see them it seems when I go out). The best song on this album for me was 'Rising Up' as it was the song that got me excited about them again. Another two on this album I'd recommend giving a try are 'Daylight' 'Rising Up' and 'Speaking In Tongues'.

Made In The A.M. - One Direction.
Okay okay okay they got me. My best friend has been trying her best to get me into them since X Factor and this album did it. Stupid catchy songs. So catchy. Plus I'm partial to a lad with long hair. So the ones that got me hooked are 'History', 'Temporary Fix' and 'Olivia'. So I'd honestly say the entire album really. It really does get stuck in your head.

Mind Games - Palisades.
Okay so they're a bit generic when it comes to their game but what I love about them is the beat's, not to toot on a horn or anything. I got talking to Earl in the band a couple of years ago and every now and then I'll listen to a song for an upbeat 'metal' sound. My favourites I always seem to go back to are 'Players Haters' Ball', 'Bad Girls', and 'Mind Games'.

American Candy - The Maine.
And finally we end with The Maine. A band that has recently just been hilariously dubbed by the Rolling Stone Magazine as an Arizona Emo Band. They're a phenomenal feel good live band that like to change things up during their set and add new parts. I can't wait to see them later this month with Mayday Parade, it's like going back to 2011. Anyhow without further ado my favourite songs are 'Another Night On Mars', 'American Candy' and '(Un)Lost'.
