H&M beauty mini haul!

As a mum I barely spend money on myself and 'treat myself'. I used to spend £50+ a week on beauty and other bits and bobs and now I can't justify it. I always spoil Imogen with new things or spend money on the food shop and bills. After having a wander around the beauty area in H&M I decided that I would pick up a couple of things for myself. Well. It's because they didn't have a mustard tshirt in really.

The first thing I picked up was this precision sponge. Recently my brothers dog chewed through my real techniques sponge (yeah, really no joke), so I was on the look for something else. I've used their sponges for a couple of years and I wanted to find something new on the high street. So I picked up this sponge to try out for just £1.99! Bargain!

After a lusting look for my favourite superdrug tea tree mask (review here) I found myself short so I thought I'd try out the H&M version and I picked up a couple of the others too. These were £2 each.

I have normal - dry skin but I've been prone to a hormonal break out lately due to my contraception. To add to that, we've barely slept with Imogen's teething lately so my skin is also looking dull and tired. A huge combination. Normal to dry, tired and dull. Is there a face mask for that?!

The first face mask I picked out was this Charcoal and Pumice mask, I'm interested to see how it will test!

We (yes partners who do face masks together stay together), tried out the Coconut Water mask. It was strong smelling of coconut so if you're not a fan I wouldn't try it.

And finally the Tea Tree mask, I'm intrigued to see how it compared to the Superdrug version. Watch out for a review next week!

Now I can't wait to have a good soak in the bath, with a glass of wine (probably a cup of coffee these days!) and a face mask.

Until next time!

  1. I love the packaging of the facemasks! xXx

    1. They're just gorgeous aren't they! So simple, a dream come true! XO
