The Christmas TAG Q&A

I was tagged by Emma at Emma and Family and also by Karen at The Mad House of Cats and Babies to join in on a Christmas tag. I've never really joined tags but I'm feeling particularly festive, maybe it's the bailey's I had with my coffee earlier! So here is my little Q&A, I hope you enjoy it!

What's your favourite Christmas Movie?
My favourite Christmas movie is The Snowman without a doubt. In our household we worship the film, most likely because it's short and quiet.

Have you ever had a white Christmas?
I remember as a kid we had a white Christmas and it was lovely, most years when it snowed it never stuck and later that afternoon it rained and it all went away, but it was perfect.

Where do you usually spend your holiday?
Every year we spend it at my mums. I think now that there's a baby on board, that it might change next year!

What is your favourite Christmas song?
My favourite Christmas song isn't a Christmas song, it just always reminds me of it. It's called Young by The Summer Set, and although I now cringe when I listen to the band, it reminds me of amazing times with my friends.

Do you open any presents on Christmas eve?
Every year since I was a kid I always got to open a present on Christmas eve, up until this year. Everythings all about Imogen, so it's now her turn to do so.

Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Oh gosh here goes: Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Blitzen, Dasher, Rudolph and ehhhh... the other one.  OH IT'S DONNA! Donner? Donna?

Which holiday traditions are you looking forward to this year?
Well this year I started all of my traditions I posted about here with Imogen and I hope to continue them. The one I enjoyed the most this year, was all the company alongside me and Imogen for a whole day. It was great to have my family there, but also, they gave me a big break from her which I haven't ever really had.

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
It's a fake, but I really want a real one for next year. My wish is to buy a real one, and plant a few with Imogen

What is your all time favourite holiday treat/food/sweet?
Do we really need to ask? Pigs in blankets/stuffing. Mmmmm

Be honest, do you like giving or receiving gifts better?
I like both. I love to give gifts but I panic that it's not something that they will ever want, but I love to receive too, because I know my family or friends have put just as much effort into it as me. It's not about how expensive they are ever though. I would love some hand made things from my family next year hopefully.

What is the best Christmas present you ever recieved?
I'm not entirely sure, maybe the polaroid camera R got me last year? There's not a stand out present that I've received. I've loved every single one don't get me wrong, but nothing that stands out a mile off!

What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
I would love to go somewhere like maybe Alaska, or anywhere in Canada for Christmas, the cold snowy winters seem like a dream.

Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably?
I'm normally a pro, but my oh my, I messed up with my wrapping paper this year! Didn't buy enough and it all went mis-match. A perfectionist wrapper's nightmare!

Most memorable Christmas moment?
Today when everyone was sitting down watching Imogen try to open her presents. It made me realise how seriously lucky I am, to have the family that I have.

What made you realise the truth about Santa?
When I was in school, a girl kept spoiling it for everyone saying he wasn't real, until I asked my dad about it one Christmas morning, and he told me the truth. I'll never forgive her for ruining my dream ha!

What makes the holidays special for you?
To make the holidays special, is when all of my family aren't working and we all get to spend it together, it's very rare that someone isn't working on Christmas, just because of their lines of work.

And that's the lot! I would tag others in it, but it's already Christmas day and no one will be interested in doing it late! Definitely going to bring this up again next year! I hope everyone has had an amazing day.

Until next time,
