GET READY WITH ME: MUM AND BABY EDITION.

So I wanted to do something different on the blog today. A get ready with me, mum and baby style. I love seeing these sort of videos on YouTube and I thought about doing it blog post style for me and my little babe. Cute, fun and my first try at something that's not really my safety net. We've got a couple of events happening this month such as a baby birthday party, a baby show and my brothers homecoming meal. So this is the sort of time I dress Imogen in her ‘Dressy’ clothes. So without further ado, here's out #ootd and my go to make up essentials!

We went for a meal in a nearby Indian restaurant so I wanted to dress comfy but stylish. I opted for a simple go to make up look creating the perfect base using my favourite moisturizer at the moment, Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb and the Vitamin E eye cream by The Body Shop. Once it's soaked in, I apply L’Oreal True Match Foundation in Vanilla, using my favourite two RT brushes, the stippling brush and the buffing brush.

I then used the Sleek Contour Cream palette in medium for contouring my face and the Collection concealor in 01 Fair for under eye highlight. These have become my staples at the moment! Speaking of highlight, I used my new favourite go to highlight in Moon from Makeup Obsession. After I applied eyeshadow using the Urban Decay Basics pallette just to give my eyes some depth and my signature winged eyeliner with Rimmel's Glam Eyes in Black.

And lastly to complete my look, I used the Velvet Matte by PS... in Mushroom. It's got that perfect deep nude pink/brown toned look to it. I wish I managed to capture a picture of my look, but it was soon covered in baby sick. Yep. Lovely isn't it!

So for my outfit I wore an oversized jumper dress from New Look which was £17.99 and paired it with some chunky platform boots from LaModa. You can buy the jumper from here. I'm not sure if the boots are still on sale anymore though! The dress is really hard to picture so excuse the droopy picture for now, I just wanted to give you the image of what it really looks like!

And as for Imogen's outfit for the day, she wore this heart printed long sleeve vest from H&M. You can get similar ones from here. And a rose pink tutu from Bob & Blossom from Little Chickie here. I'm STILL waiting on the tights to arrive to go with the outfit but she looked adorable. A couple of pictures below to show you what she looked like in the day time. I love this tutu on her, it's not often we dress her up as she's normally covered in muck and everything's she's tried pulling out, so it's nice to see her looking angelic.

So what do you think? I enjoyed this, but next time I'll be able to include shoes for the little one too!

Until next time,
